The natural wonders around Graskop are probably the most seen, the most photographed, the most painted and the most cherished scenes in Southern Africa. There is a good reason for this; not only are these scenes breath-taking, they are all within easy reach along a good network of tarred roads.

Travel south of Graskop (towards Sabie) in the morning for the best lighting conditions on the waterfalls and other scenic spots. Travel north of Graskop in the afternoon for the best viewing conditions of God’s Window, Pinnacle, Blyde River Canyon and the Three Rondavels.

From Graskop, drive through the Lowveld to the world-famous animal park where visitors can experience the wonders of African nature. From the safety of your car you can spot antelope, lions, monkeys, elephants, rhino, giraffes, hippos, buffalo, and wildebeest. If you are very lucky you might even catch a glimpse of a leopard or cheetah! Not forgetting the many kinds of birds, insects and plants to identify too in the Kruger National Park.

A 51-meter glass elevator has being constructed down the road from God’s Window. Situated one kilometer out of Graskop, at the Graskop Gorge, on the R533 towards Hazyview, the development will offer yet another amazing tourism experience on the Lowveld’s legendary Panorama Route. It is also the first development of its kind in Africa and the centre was opened for business in March 2018, only 4 minutes (1,3 km) drive on the R532 to the closest attraction point, The Big Swing & Highwire, Graskop.
